Trying out some unusual color schemes and patterns.  But the actuall design of the car is too similar to my previous one, So I am not going to take it further.

Pilot Concepts

Some initinal ideas for my first character. I wanted him to be the pilot of the car from my last post. Therefore I kept the design language and color scheme similar. Below are also some concepts for other possible characters.

Oxygen mask
When creating this character I used the same process as I did with the car.

1.Thumbnail
2. Lineart over thumbnail
3.Block out colors
4. Render
5. Render again
6. Render details
7. Add texture

First car

This is the very first proper vehicle design for Project Overlander. Inspired by those early mobiles which were powered by really big engines, Like the one bellow the "Beast of Turin", Which ran on an airship engine.

When I started designing, I had a few things in mind. A big offroad car which is loosely based on a medieval french knight.  The design process is purely based of trial and error, seeing what works and what doesent while keeping my initial theme in mind, and this is the result.

and it sounds something like this
